About POW and this site

ADULTS-ONLY SITE. If it is not legal for you to read disturbingly graphic stories about male-on-male sex and torture, or if you do not wish to see such material, please stop reading.

Hi. I’m POW, and on this site you’ll find the stories I’ve written over the years. They’re all gay-oriented and most contain some pretty heavy pain and torture. Some contain deaths. If this is not the sort of thing you care to read, or if it is not the sort of thing you are legally allowed to read, then I urge you to navigate your browser elsewhere. Otherwise, welcome.

I began writing gay S&M fiction in 1998. I started “publishing” the stories online at appropriately-themed interest groups and web sites and eventually launched my own site at powauthor.blogspot.com. For a long time, that worked, but in 2023 Google (which bought blogspot.com in the meantime) started requiring a login to reach the site’s content. While I approve of keeping this material away from children, I do not like the tracking possibilities that requiring a login enables. I believe adults should be free to read these tales without being followed. In 2023 I moved the stories to powauthor.wordpress.com.

I chose the nickname “POW” because it sums up my tastes very well: I like my victims to be men, not boys, masculine and strong and virile. I like my sadists to be cool and collected, dispassionate and controlled. I don’t get into the master/slave scene; I much prefer my victims to be “unwilling”. In the case of the fantasy stories I write, the victims really are unwilling; in real life, of course, the victim should merely act unwilling. For instance, the response to a whip lash should be “You bastard, I’ll get you!”, not “Thank you, Sir, may I have another?” if it’s going to turn me on. Exactly the sort of relationship an interrogator might have with his helpless captive, in other words. I tend to run about 50/50, picturing myself sometimes in the role of the torturer and other times in the role of the victim.

As of 2023, I’ve written about fifty stories and am slowly but steadily working on more. Many of them feature crucifixion or something near it (in a non-religious context). Another theme I visit over and over is science fiction and the possibilities that technology offers to re-use a victim. Aside from those two recurring themes, there is a wide variety of material here. The stories are, for the most part, not for the squeamish, and won’t be to everyone’s taste.

If you happen to be one of those people who does find this sort of literature appealing, then I would be very pleased if you would drop me a note and let me know.
